Company Sponsorship with AMA

The American Marketing Association is one of the largest and most active business associations on campus. We strive to provide our members with opportunities to develop professionally and gain valuable business experience. Our sponsoring companies are vital to the success of our organization by providing us with useful insight into the business world as well as financial support. Involvement Details

Recruitment Mixer
The semi-annual recruitment mixers are designed to give students a less formal and less intimidating venue to meet with recruiters. The students and corporate recruiters are able to speak in a more intimate environment to really get to know one another. It is a great opportunity for recruiters to build relationships with Chico’s more motivated students. This event is traditionally held the evening before the Collegiate Career Fair.

Link and logo on web site
The company’s logo will be displayed on all Chico AMA promotional material to maximize the company’s exposure and emphasize the relationship between the company and the AMA. The company will also have its logo and link displayed on our web page, which is repeatedly visited by most members of the AMA. Having the company’s logo and link to their website visible will allow easy access for AMA students to research the company.

Presentation
The CSU Chico AMA holds member meetings every Monday evening at 6:00 throughout the semester. These meetings are designed to help develop the members knowledge and skills by having professionals come and speak about various business topics. The sponsoring companies come in and speak to up to 50 AMA members. These meetings are a great way to build relationships with students and gain exposure.

AMA T-shirts
The AMA and ADA T-shirts are worn continuously throughout the semester by the AMA officers and members. This offers great exposure for companies since many students see and wear the shirts. Also, these shirts show that the company has donated to programs that benefit students and the community.
